The Fine Print
Occasionally we can make an exception and offer single night stays. Please see the request form on the web site. That said, we ask that you PLEASE RESPECT OUR 2 NIGHT MIN POLICY. IOW: Please do not book 2 nights with the intention of dropping one. If you must do so, you will be billed for both, or subject to a cancellation.
OF COURSE YOU MAY BOOK (PAY) FOR BOTH NIGHTS AND ONLY STAY FOR ONE. Many people do this, no worries. If you book 2 nights, you may stay for either, and/or both.
Room rates do not include the sales tax of 12.38% and are based on a two-person occupancy. Please note that children and infants of any age are considered part of total occupancy of the room.
The Moose Hus is for 1 or 2 adults only
Room #5 and #7 can be reserved for 2 adults and 2 children. After base rate for 2 people, the 3rd person/child adds $25 per night. The 4th person/child adds another $25 per night.
Rooms must be reserved with a major credit card. We charge a non-refundable 20% deposit plus taxes for our standard rooms and the Moose Hus. When you check in, you will be credited the amount charged.
Cancellation Policy and Penalties
Cancellations made 10 or more days before booked date of arrival
The 20% non-refundable deposit has been processed upon booking. This deposit is non refundable. No other penalty will be incurred for cancellation 1o or more days before
Cancellations made inside of 10 days
Cancellations made LESS than 10 days prior to arrival will be charged the original deposit PLUS the rate of one nights stay. Please contact us at 1-218-387-2975 if you have any questions concerning this policy.
No Show Policy
Failure to show without notice of cancellation will result in full billing for the entire stay booked, minus the deposit already paid.
Ordinary check-in is between 3 PM and 6 PM. If you plan to arrive later than 6 PM, please let us know, and self check-in can be arranged. An automated system allows for direct room access, but you will require a code.This is very easy- But please inform us in advance.
Check-out is at 10:00 am or earlier.
For the comfort of our guests, all rooms are smoke-free. But, a patio is available for those who do smoke. Please do not smoke on the steps to the rooms.
The Moose CANNOT accept pets: This includes "therapy and emotional support" pets- sorry! True SERVICE animals, as defined by The ADA are more than welcome of course. We love dogs, we have a dog. But in the interest of all guests, dogs (all pets) are not allowed. Please understand we are a small ( but busy) operation and not able to offer pet friendly rooms for some, while meeting room satisfaction for all. Sorry.
There are pet friendly rooms at larger hotels less than 500 yards away.
